Its just that I can click on post and then go back to view new posts and they have all disappeared. Was that just a blip?

no- its not working for me. Yours was not down as a new post. In fact I only had one thread just now. 
Ah no I dont know what's been posted .. I only have 1 or 2 posts now for the whole day in "view new posts" ... disaster . Everyone is gasing somewhere but I dont know where you are

View new posts seems to be back. Thanks Phil 
phil..now in "General Holiday Enquiries, Hints and Tips" and it shows unread posts...one lot static yellow and the others flashing (not yellow), both for the same thing.
Have you removed the Tapatalk forum app? I can no longer correct to the forum via Tapatalk.
Also the 'Welcome to Holidaytruths' bumped topic now not showing in View New Posts
