My vote goes to the hilton at sharks Bay Madge. The hotel is of good quality , It's well run with efficient and friendly staff . The food is pretty good too . Not outstanding but you would be hard pushed to find anything to complain about . High percentage of English if that is important to you and the pool is heated over winter . Many are not .

The beach is not the best . There are sand sunbathing terraces down to a small beach but the reef is excellent .

You will also find that Egypt may be just a tad hotter..but in my experience there has not been alot in it. We have been in both countries the week before Christmas and found it to be warm during the day but cool at night and you would need a fleece or a cardigan.
