I love Delta Sharm. Some rooms are better than others, as there are black market owners, private owners and Resort Management. If you book through Delta Sharm direct, make sure the price includes electricity, water and air-con and pool cards. You won't get a Delat towel without a pool card and the pool supervisors can be a bit unpleasnt. A small tip goes a long way as the wages are terrible. Check your fridge and plumbing. If you are not happy, don't take the room. They should have some non-smoking rooms now as well.

They do meal packages, and they are good value. The shops in resort are okay, but the supermarket on the other side of the road outside is much cheaper. There are banks and coffee shops inside the Delta walls.

Make sure you know your flight times, you need to be at the airport 3 hours before hand, as the bag scanning is so slow. The last time I was there, I nearly missed my flight, and had allowed 1 hr 40mins!

hi delta sharm is just outside naama bay which is the big resort you can get taxi to centre town
its a big complex with shops and bars outside complex but as i say its not in naama bay if it is where you want to be
