Nice perfumes/aftershave

We always buy ourselves perfume/aftershave on holiday and love browsing in the perfume shops, it's become a bit of a holiday ritual. Is there anything nice/new on the market?? I want Emporium by C.K.

I don`t know about any new ones, but my favourite is Lancome Tresor. I keep trying new ones but I havn`t found anything to beat it.

"ANGEL" is the perfume i always buy when on holiday and as a bonus last year i also go "CK SUMMER" which is a lovely refreshing scent!

Hi Lou yes it does seem to be a popular choice and I get a lot of compliments when I wear it

One perfume I would'nt recommend is GUCCI II I bought a bottle of this last year and it cost me over £30, as soon as you spray it the scent seems to disappear

the worse purfume I've ever bought. Of course it could just be my skin it reacts to but I was very disappointed.

Lou26 - I love Angel Innocent, not just as heavy, I got that last hols and still have loads because it's my "special occassion" perfume. Hubby got Angel aftershave which he loves but I don't like. I love Burberry Touch for men, he got that at airport last year.

Hermes Rouge or the lighter Hermes Rouge Delicate are both lovely.

So is '212 Sexy'

I like sweet smellies. Amor Amor is nice, people comment on that smell. Also I have to go back to my Jean Paul Gaultier, the original one, need to purchase that one this time as I have run out :cry:

Ghost purple is also a really nice smell. Wear that for best at the moment.

Burberry Touch. I bought it in las Vegas this year and love it even though I don't normally wear perfume.

Allure by Channel is lovely and so are Jean Paul Gaultier, Pure Poison by Dior, Lacoste Pour Femme and Hugo Boss Red. Some nice aftershaves are John Paul Gaultier, Paul Smith Extreme, Dolce and Gabbana and Hugo Boss Dark Blue. We always stock up when we go :roll:

I'm a big fan of Angel but my husband says it smells like disinfectant so I can only wear it when I am going out with friends, though I must say you only need to use a very small amount as it is very strong.

my sister just bought the Davidoff cool water for women in the summer fizz variety also - it's lovely and fresh - I think I will get myself one..

I notice a few of you like Paco Rabanne Ultra violet - never tried it I think I'll have a sniff next time I go shopping.
Also heard Bobbi Brown Beach is a good summer fragrance though I've never smelt that one either.
I think it's all part of going on holiday when you treat yourself to a new scent at the airport.

Judith - maybe you're hubby would be more tolerant of Angel Innocent, it's gorgeous, not just as heavy.

I've also got Chanel Chance, J.Lo Miami Glow and Hugo Intense. Heard the new "Jade" perfume is lovely but as I don't like her am a bit loathe to try!!

My son has Ultraviolet Paco rabanne.

I like Joop for men.
