Sorry to hear about yet again MyTravels miss treatment towards their customers and you fiance. Wht did the check in lady say "it has nothing to do with the fact that you're Irish"? You must invertigate to see if the plane was full and seek legal advice. Make sure you get all your money back along with compensation or you can go to the media for example watchdog.

Direct Holiday which are a part of Mytravel miss sold me a wedding package which I bought on the back of our holiday. Unfortunatley it later transpired this package did not exist - the only package was an inferior one. So we made the bid mistake of booking direct with the hotel for our wedding package. This meant that Direct Holiday would not be responsible for our wedding if they bumped us from the hotel. I wrote to them and it took 52 days for a reply, in between this time they ignored all phone calls, faxes and emails. They disregarded my concerns and their lack of after sales service is poor beyond belief.
It is not nice to have one of your major events of your life ruined by others' ineptitude.

I hope you enjoyed your wedding though? Good luck with the process and keep to the topic if you give mytravel to much they will reply to whats unimportant and ignore the real problem so I have discovered. Do not accept vouchers and ahian give 14 days for them to send the monies after which time you must contact Ross.
