hi ya ! we went to ocean world in december we swam with the dolphins it is definatley well worth its money and we would do it again without hesitation can't tell u much about the shark experience as we did'nt do that, there are loads of different shows on throughout the day

I second that, Ocean World is a great day out, so much to do!

I really recommend the dolphin experience and sealion experience. Infact, I preferred the sealions to the dolphins because we got to play ball with them etc.

Cant remember prices, but when we went they were not bothered about people taking their own photos, so we didnt buy any official ones.

There is so much to do there. In addition to the experiences we also went into the avaries, had love birds eating out of our hands with the feed supplied, you can literally get right and close with the parrots, wach the stringray/shark shows (and participate if you want!), bird shows, there is a reef you can snorkel around the supplied equipment, and food was included and it wansnt that bad actually!

Another excursion I would really recommend is the Monster Trucks. Loved that day out on these huge trucks, stopping off for lunch, meeting the locals etc. Both were great days out!

I went to ocean world back in September 2007 and did both the dolphin swim and the shark/stingray experience. Both were well worth the money and in all it was a good day out. With the shark experience you get to feed them and they sit a shark on your lap! and they give you information about them etc.. you then get to snorkel with them which me and my ex boyfriend both enjoyed - we were 18 at the time.

Me and my current partner are hoping to go to DR late august this year and I will defiantly revisit ocean world. Hope you enjoy it
