stay somewhere else, we were there in oct and it was terrible, the food was the pits, and lots of facilities were closed, i would not recommend this to anyone and ive got photos of the food if you want me to email it to you, there were lots of complaints, more 1-2* , very noisey at night surrounded by bars , discos blarring music til about 3-4 am grrr but if your not bothered about food or the noise then the location was ok

Thanks for replies, after looking at the reviews have decided not to stay there, and are now looking at the Mavruka Hotel.

i have heard this as well karen but was not sure if it was true this has been since it was taken over i guess

it really was terrible, i give my dog better food than we had and thats not a joke grrr

AARRGHHH.....Booked to go there in 5 weeks time after a trusted friend said it was excellent!! However she was talking about it from a few years ago.

Oludeniz is one of the beautiful place in turkey

I am looking forward to it and just hope that previous visitors have just had a "glitch" week(s) and it's all sorted now! We'll see.

Now this is quite worrying....no one is talking about this hotel and how much they are looking forward to going.

Does this mean I will be alone on May15th for two weeks?
Is the rest of the hotel booked out to the Russians?
It's closed and TC haven't told me yet?

My daughter stayed at the Sun City last September (which is part of the same group and you can use that hotel as well at Tropicana I think) and she loved it.

Had a re-think and have decided on either the Mavruka appts or these new ones opening in June, appt for 3 persons is £315

well ill be there on may 17th....look out for me pushing a wheel chair....iv read a lot of good reviews of this hotel and a lot of bad,but ill see for myself im sure.
i personally dont think itl be as bad as some people have said<i think some people winge about any thing>at the end of the day i think what we pay for

i hope you have a better time then we did, maybe it was due to the end of season that it was so bad, the last few days the restaurant even closed and we had to walk to sun city for our meals which i thought was a disgrace . but im sure it will be better for you and the location is very good

My son and I went last year, flying out on Good Friday. I dont know what it's like now, but when we went, we had a great time. I added a review which you will find under the hotel reviews for Olu Deniz resort Hotel.
Admittedly, we weren't there at high season but it definitely was not noisy.
The majority of people there were British and a couple of locals were also staying in our Hotel too.
All i can say is.. If it is really that bad now, it must have changed.

Of course a holiday is what you make it and some people just enjoy moaning for the sake of it! I will go with an open mind but at the same time expect the hotel to deliver a acceptable level of service.

Flying out on Sat afternoon from Newcastle, unless the ash comes back, so I will let all know on my return.

as i thought, the hotel itself is really nice all 2 and 3 storey buildings set around the gardens all of which are really well maintained.i couldnt fault this hotel or the staff in any way at all.
the drink was ok. it got me going a few times.
the location was excellent.
the only downside was the food,it was a bit samey and not a lot of variety.
but i would definately return to this hotel,as value for money it is.
i was a bit put out by the prices the shop sellers are charging this year for there goods ,and they didnt want to barter,the attitude was ul be back as you wont find cheaper,<which i did> id recomend goingto hissorona and things became much cheaper or as i was told go to fetiye.i was told the rent and rates was much higher in ole deniz that these places hence the prices..but all in all had a great week and i would return.i hope this helps some people who has booked.
