*Edit please can you not post in phone text IE U thanks Briar
I feel the same as you too, 43 3 children and many wobbly bits but now I have read the replies to your post, maybe....just maybe I can go to the Red sea too!!!!
sorry briar thought i had changed it
Get swimwear with a good lycra content, and make sure you rinse in tap water after swimming, the fibres break and stretch in chlorine....
Chubby thighs might benefit from a light dusting ot talc in the evening when it's hot (take it with you)...
For the ladies, BHS do up to size 22 in swimwear and up to cup size DD/E (mix and match) so there is something for everyone. The backs are lower on one pices than some of the Evans ranges. You will need cool cotton cover -up though, polyester doesn't keep anyone cool.... and its very hot in the summer. Live and let live.....
I swim most days and the costumes I bought to take to Egypt in February are standing up to the rigours of a chlorinated pool really well. In fact, far better than some VERY expensive tankinis I bought last year.
I've never felt uncomfortable in swimwear in Egypt - St Tropez or Porto Banus full of 'beautiful people' it is not....
As my username suggests, my legs are my chunkiest part and are a bit like tree trunks! Hard to find something to cover them up, apart from sarongs I suppose...
Good luck Lardylegs, Happy Shopping. Its worth trying a selection on - some of them look a lot less 'matronly' on than on the hanger if you know what I mean...
my legs are my chunkiest part and are a bit like tree trunks
Coooorrrrrr!!!!!! I would have booked when your going if i'd have known!
I was paranoid about my bikini before I went - but everyone was too busy looking at my red hair to care about my fat bottom lol!
If I did feel a bit uncomfortable I just stuck a kaftan on - going to the bar for example.
Your much more likely to get unwanted male attention from men who find you attractive than the other way around - guaranteed!
In luxor, my boyfriend had to escort me to the pool when I was wearing a bikini as I seemed to have a swarm of waiters offering me drinks everytime I took my Kaftan off! That was uncomfortable though, and it wasn't like that in sharm
Enjoy yourself x
i am a bit on the plump side so i go on the sun beds for a few months before the hols so i`m lovely and brown, then if i get any looks off skinny deformed women at least i know i`ve got a better tan than them and will have an even better one when i go home, which is usually more of a bronze/black after 2 weeks..if you don`t wanna do that then just stick your nose up at them and maybe your fingers too...lol
I can highly recommend the swimsuits by 'miraclesuit' They are fantastic at slimming down wobblybits, although on the expensive side, well worth it!!
Helen x
I am a big girl, but I paid to go on holiday like everyone else, so I don't care what everyone else thinks of me! Besides which, there were many people men and women I spotted that were even bigger than me, and I'm a size 26 at present!
Tall, slim, high heels (even on the beech,) matching everything, huge sunglasses - Italian
Well built, very short or even crew cuts - Yanks from UN base
You get the idea, have a go, it's fun, honest
Last year Hubby and I couldn't fathom out whether a vision on a pink lilo was male of female until they got out of the water!!!!
I am trying to diet like mad at the moment, for our return in Sept.
I agree with EP Egyptian men like large ladies.
Have fun and enjoy your hols.
i also have tree trunk legs so i`ve just ordered the new magic leg thingy, so i`ve got 13 weeks to see if i can have flower stem legs, if i haven`t then it`s just tough, i am what i am and it means theres more of me to look at lol
just wanna say wobblybum that i am short, well built, my hair is abt an inch long but i`m british not a yank... lol
shazza, what is the new magic leg thingie? Sounds v. exciting!!
you only have to use it for 60seconds at a time
i saw it on the jjbchannel on sky this mornin and have just ordered one, it looks mint so the lateral thigh trainer is goin in the cupboard

just got my leg magic and boy you can feel it work, it is a bit pricey but i think it`s gonna do some good, just worried it won`t cos my mam is a size 10 but has legs like tree trunks, my grandma has large legs and her mother did as well so even if i tone them up they will look much better
