Mum and Dad returned from PDC a couple of days ago and said that there was a lot of building going on around there. I asked them what the harbour was like and they said it was rubbish, it was all cordoned off due to building works.
thanks for that shirley you dont know if there was any diving going on in the little cove to left of harbour do you .
As far as I'm aware the diving from Playa Chica is still fine. There are also a lot of dive clubs setting off from the pier too, in front of the cafe there. The divers are just not going across to where the dredgers are.

It really doesn't seem to be causing too many problems GQB!!!! I was there last week for my birthday, and in the dark you couldn't tell anything was going on. Parking there is a problem, that was all

I keep catching snippets about building work... is it still going on? We are heading to the flora apartments in 4 weeks, do you think this will effect us?
Went down past Flora yesterday, Dawn, and it seems it's fine there! That's not to say it won't change, cos I am finding it very hard to get around atm! 
If you have a car then the road down from Flora is blocked at the crossroads, but all work outside Flora is finished!
