Is it true have Onur restarted providing meals again?
No, I flew with them yesterday, the only food they are providing are extortionately priced wraps and Pringles. Best to take sarnies to eat at the airport and buy some stuff to make your own for the way back, that's what we did.
Are the restrictions the same coming back ? Or can you bring food and drink on the plane at Bodrum aiport? If so we can make some up at the hotel before we leave.
Theres no restriction on bringing food/drink through security at Bodrum. Just make sure you get something in resort to take to the airport - as with most airports in Turkey, the prices are skyhigh.

OHY1958 is operated by an Airbus A300B4-605R. Seating is allocated at check-in, I don't think you can pre-book them because OHY operate the flight on behalf of a tour company. Might be worth contacting the agent you booked the flight / holiday through.

Flying from east midlands airport with Onur to Bodrum and been told hand luggage is 5kg, can this go though with the the 20kg hold luggage. Also been told l can take my own pack up through security but no liquid drinks but from what l've read you can take food and drink to bodrum airport on return.

Your checked-in baggage allowance is 20kg so you can't add you hand luggage to that, it has to be taken seperately. UK security restrictions are tighter than those in Turkey.

I am off to Dalaman on Friday 15th August 2008. Leaving Gatwick hopefully at 2155 hrs with Onur Air.

Just a FYI, I called Onur this morning as we hadnt yet received our tickets, and they advised that all tickets are being sent out by email in their new "e-ticket" system.
Darren is my hand allowance 5kg on onur. Also l know you cannot take liquid over 100m through but what about making you own pack up and what else could l take in hand luggage like a music mp3. Just wanted to find out before going so l dont have to leave anything behind.. list. crackers

Yes, hold luggage is 20kg plus hand luggage of 5kg. You can take food items through security for consumpion during the flight. MP3 players etc are fine. Refer to the dedicated hand luggage thread for more details.
