Hello,
I have just read somewhere that men must wear long trousers while in the restaurant, Can anyone confirm if this is true?

daughter went a couple of years back and it was long trousers/jeans in the dinning room for evening dinner

We returned two weeks ago....men DO NOT have to wear long trousers, even in the a la carte restaurant. Dressy shorts are allowed on an evening.
