It s actually Pafian Sun Village, which is closer to Coral bay. We have transfered our holiday over. Anybody else going in may?
Is it close to a beach/bus stop/supermarket etc? and would we be able to stroll into Coral bay?

Thanks for that, found it but i'm beginning to wonder if I've done the right thing....looks a bit out the way and not much else surrounding it. :( but beggars can't be choosers, at least it'll be quiet, no noise from diggers or pile drivers... :sun2 :cheers

the bus runs past your hotel into Pafos via Kato Pafos [the harbour area] in real terms your around 7km [41/2 miles] from both the bus passes/stops at the Tomb of the Kings archaeological site

I saw that on google earth.....I'll hire a pedal bike to see that when hubby is off on his fishing day.

I went a good few years ago now but as far as I can remember the bus service is pretty regular and Coral Bay is a nice quiet change from going into Paphos.

Enjoy :cheers

Hi Cazz,

How did you get on with your holiday?

We're going in August, never been to Cyprus before and we're looking forward to it! The reviews of this place all seem pretty good so far.

Sorry, but it wasn't for me.
Think the thin g that bugged me most was a lot of people had only booked up two weeks prior to departure and had paid half what we did. If i had of paid half I would have been happy but I was expecting something more for the money we splashed out.
If you have children under the age of 10 then this place is for you but it is out the way of everything and the road is really busy and not the type to go walking far on.

Why do i get the feeling we've paid over the top too? lol

We've paid £2700 for 5 of us in a 2 bed appt, AI for 1 week, is that anywhere near what you paid?

We do have 2 x 7yo's with us and a 15yo, the 15yo is pretty laid back though and good at entertaining himself so not too worried about him, as long as the 2 young one's have enough to do thats half the battle!!

We paid £2200 for 2 weeks AI, one roomed apt for three of us. Another family of four paid £2600. However another two familes booked two weeks prior to dept at £1300 for 3 and £1450 for four.If I'd have paid that, I wouldnt really be complaining. Lots of people thought they had been ripped off.
The kids will have a whale of a time and with it being school hols they will make lots of friends. Not too many teens about when we were there. My son is nearly 13 and knocked about with kids ranging from 8 to 11, he looked a bit lost with them at times. There is an few computers but internet is not free.
The bus into paphos and coral bay is only a euro if you get fed up of the mini disco! Can recommend Millenium bar in Coral bay, Elvis on Sat, Thurs, Robbie Williams Sunday and Michael Buble on Wednesaday ( tribute acts of course) Last bus from Coral Bay is 12.20 and from Paphos 11.15

Oh, and I didnt hire a bike, the road is far too dangerous for them!!!!

Sounds like we have paid well over the odds then!

Ah well, at the time of booking it was the best of the bunch, everywhere else was around £3500 for a week as its the holidays, never mind, i'm sure we'll have a good time.

Thanks a lot :)

We were in the same situation and this was the best of the choices.
I still had fun as we made some good friends but we had to get out on a night time....you may enjoy it with you having two 7 year olds....agadoooo dooo dooo ...... :cheers
Have a good time. :sun2
