Yes there are hairdriers in the bathrooms, you can change money at the reception but im not sure of the rates, local shops are just a min away(literaly)you can get two copy turkish beach towels(versace or von dutch) two for a tenner, very large and lovely quality. When i put mine on the washing line back home neighbours wanted to know where i had them from.
have a great time, know you will :D

Hi Adelle
The honest answer is i dont know. There were large signs explaining the prices and no mention of money being returned for air con and safe deposit boxes.
sorry couldnt be more useful
Andrea(we did not need air con or the use of a box)

if andremary picks up on this a couple of things ???
i usually fax the hotel to request a cretain room.. i.e. over the pool ,sea view etc.
what would be the best request at the palm gardens?
i was thinking top floor over looking the pool, but are the mountain view ones cooler ???

Also i am intrested about you not needing air cond was this because it was cooler in may , when we went to hisaronu in september we did not need it,but last july in marmaris we did use it....
thanks for all your tips along the way

Hi Jackonews
In the last week of May the weather was very overcast and stormy and we did not need airconditioning. When we arrived we were given an apartment at the rear of the property. This was 2.00 in the morning. When we awoke we overlooked rough ground that had not been landscaped and alot of debris. This work may now be completed.Having two children we really wanted to face the pool and have a lovely view. We were relocated that morning, and cheerfully so!We did experience quite a bit of noise during the day and night(bar plays music duringthe day and it was sometimes difficult to have a late aftrnoon siesta) the resort generally goes quiter after 12.00 midnight- this is enforced by local police- the palm garden bar is close to the actual apartments and at night noise kept us awake a couple of times(just the noise of people having a good time-like-you-do when on hols) An apartment facing the rear would definately be quieter.Anyway we have just booked to return next year!! At the same time of year. They may remember me as I have pillar box red hair!
Have a lovely holiday, and if its your first time prepare to be smitten. Adelle have a fab time. If you go to the Deniz Kapzi bar on the front tucked in the corner of the bay look for a photo of me on the wall by the loos....Andreaxx

Andrea,is this the sum total of your life that you have a photograph of yourself outside the Deniz Kapisi Toilets?

Just got back from the Palm Gardens Monday night. You can put any worries to rest the place is really nice the apartments are spotless the pool is spotless
and everywhere is cleaned every day. There are plenty of sunbeds plus their are bean bags all around the pool. The slide is only put on twice a day.it is in a good quiet location and it is only a five minute walk to the beach and they are plenty f restuarants within easy walking distance although the prices at the pool bar are very reasonable. I have taken some pics of the aparments and if you would like to see them contact me and i will send them to you.

just been looking at some of the posts submitted. You dont get anything back for the use of the safety deposit boxes or air con which is only in the bedroom. I changed travellers cheques a couple of times at the reception but found out you get a better rate downtown their rate was 2.35 and you can get 2.41 or 2.42 elsewhere.

Hi all

I have just got back from two weeks in the resort of icmeler Palm Garden Apartments, i no everyone is very eager for some pictures and i do have some, jus need a little help with uploading them i think. It is in a fantastic the apartments are surrounded by the mountains, the pool is quite big, there are plenty of sun loungers and if you cant get one of those, i suggest you get a beanbag, plonk it by the side of the pool and dip ur feet in pool while u get the sun, keeps you very cool, the prices of drinks have gone up, it is 3.5 mil for a large beer, you can get it cheaper but its not all that good. English breakfast on average costs £2 which is 5 mil. The people in Palm Garden are all very friendly, especially the owner Ali, he helped me get my boyfriend over to see me for a few days, You then have Rambo and Baz, who just pinch all your fags. All the bar staff hate being called emeje, so call it them. I do have pictures and if you would like to see them, then get in touch with myself, *** i would be happy to pass them along.
Have a great time in Palm Garden.
Joanne

You do not get anythin back for the safety deposit box and air cond. It is £10 a weeks for safety deposit and £25 for air cond. Also there are a lot of barking dogs around the apartment so if you can i suggest you get some earplugs, i got some and slept fantastically through my siesta
