Hi fencehead
Firstly let me say well done for booking at the casaboners, it is a lovely complex, and you are ideally situated for Magaluf and Palma Nova.
Because it is your first time in this area I can understand you wanting to find a good place to start your adventure, but I have been to Magaluf 8 times in the last 14 years and I can honestly say you wont be disapointed in the majority of restaurants and bars, there are so many to choose from.

But for a start, come out of the complex, turn right and head down the slight hill and fifty yards on your left is a long set of steps go down here and there are several restaurants in this area alone (begining of Palma Nova) Then chose one that takes your fancy, good luck and have a brilliant time.
Regards

Suke

PS .We will be there this Saturday for a fortnight staying at the Martinique

There are lots of decent places on Magaluf beachfront, plus you get the great view while you're eating. Another good place is Ruby Tuesday which is near the Hotel Hawaii (at the end of Palma Nova beach).

you mean son matias beach? Palma Nova beach is the other side of santa lucia

Hi Fencehead,

Just got back from saboners and had a great time, :D the apartments were great. I would defo go back. The best place for breakfast i thought was at the eastenders bar it was E3 and did nicer eggs than the other places plus you could add extras if you wanted fried bread or black pudding for instance. We loved the meals in the maria's which is in palma nova. When you come out of the hotel walk down the steps and walk towards the beach.
If you walk along the promanade and round the santa lucia then past the sand sculptures till you come to the trampoline you will see Maria's across the road next to banana joe's. Also we had great meals in the Florida and the chinese a bit further down, i think it was called the grand something? they were down the steps and turn right. You will soon find your way around its great.
Ive put a review on the hotel reviews that you can read but were i put the breakfast at the hotel was the greatest i meant to say it wasn't the greatest.

Enjoy yourselves we are gutted to be home. :(

Yes DJ Woody, I know that it is called Son Matias Beach but thought I might confuse people if they were unsure of the area.

Abracadabra does a mean chicken kebab and not badly priced. They have a large varied menu at very modest prices.

It's right next to Golf Fantasia, can't miss it.
