The weather has been excellent. Really quite warm and very sunny, but pretty chilly at night. Last couple of days, there has been more cloud but still fairly pleasant.

General X-rate at present is 1.52 euros to the pound, but if you're buying here doubt you'd get that.

I know you here in Majorca at the moment, but I also know you check the site when you away, so I'll respond.

As Andrew says, the weather has been fantastic, right through the "winter" and today is warm and sunny, with a slight breeze.

Sorry Sue, but Steff and I gave up the Santa Lucia "gig" last April, because we were just too busy in our own bar, and as it turns out the Hotel changed hands shortly afterwards, and they introduced a new and very complicated Invoicing system (so I'm told by other artistes) so we maybe timed our departure well. However Erwin is still there taking care of the entertainment, ably assisted by Sonya, so I'm sure they will still have a very good entertainment programme, although I believe Leapy Lea is still in Benidorm.

We were open for just 3 days last week, before we had to fly back to England for a family celebration, and we'll be open tomorrow night onwards from 8pm, although our daytime opening hours may be limited as we are doing some work on the bar. I hope you get chance to pop in and see us, and we are putting a show on each night, followed by Karaoke on demand!

We arrived home yesterday after a lovely holiday.
The weather was lovely for first few days but then it became cooler and windy but we only had rain in the late evening a couple of times and no snow (as in mainland Spain)it had improved again by the last few days so we couldnt grumble overall. We have come home to lovely sunny weather
We called at Goodfellowes, to see Adam and Stephanie and enjoyed our chats with them.
I haven't found out any more about the "house of Katmando" Adam, have you?
To answer my original question-- we were getting 1.46 or 1.47 euros to the pound.
