We rarely use the hotel sunloungers as we prefer the beach but I think we would choose not to go to an hotel that was going to charge for their use.I thought they are included in the price of the holiday.T.
I've never been to a hotel that charges for use of sunloungers within the hotel grounds and if I knew that before booking somewhere, I'd probably choose somewhere else. It's rather cheeky to ask you to pay for the sunlounger when you're staying at their hotel.
if goldtrail where still about it wouldnt surprise me at all if one of their ai charged for sunbeds they charged for everything else as extras ...
forum can sway away from these places.
I actually dont blame them.
I was in Menorca last week and there were very sad little people (you know who ur) who were doing this - mainly the men and no-one using these for a few hours. These people must have sad little lives and its affecting other holidaymakers.
If this is all people can think about before going to bed, well, like I said, sad
Like I said, name them. Then people will know not to book these places.
Why name them? people should stop putting towels down full stop
I once stayed in a hotel where they had a sunbed allocation system. There were 2 sunbeds allocated to a particular room with a number on them. That worked pretty well as firstly it made sure there were enough to go around and secondly, there was no need to reserve them as they were allocated to you. Sunbeds are always an issue at hotels so I agree with having a ssytem in place to stop the towels at dawn race, but I don't agree with charging for them when it's a hotel. There are other allocation systems that work just as well.
Sunbed allocation is a good idea but I'm sure you would get some people who would sneak down early to shift the beds into the best position , probably the same people who lay their towels out!

What I said was name the hotels /apartments who are charging for sun beds,
then people would not stay in them.
I am totally against people putting towels on sun-beds,then not using for hours.
But the topic is hotel/apartments charging for sunbeds.
Nothing to do with towels on beds in a morning.

I was charged for sunbeds once in Tunisia, I thought that it was standard practice there.
Fortunately we had no problem getting a sunbed as we go in May but I have read of problems for guests staying there in busier weeks.
The hotel may be charging next year but only for non residents.
3 years on the beach, while we have been going.
Sats bar & Surf club don't charge, has long has you buy a
drink from them.
