The only way to deal with this is via your holiday insurance.

They will cover the death of a close relative. That is exactly the kind of thing you take it out for.

Sadly we had a close relative pass away two days before we were due to travel and we got everything back from the holiday insurance apart from the £50 excess.

You must always get insurance - what do you mean you didnt get it in time?
You should have bought it the minute you booked the holiday! You wouldnt find yourself in this situation now.
If you have explained the situation to Crystal and they cant or wont help you out then there really isnt anything you can do.

Apologies, I missed there was no travel insurance. Nothing can be done then.

My friend really needs this holiday to cheer her up !!!! :whoops we didn't bought the insurance in time !!!

Not into skiing holidays myself but if I were the Crystal would be one of the favoured choices after reading this.
It's good to hear of a company that DOES help instead of the usual complaints about those who won't.

I have used Crystal for a holidays to Austria.
They are a lovely company and part of the Tui group.
Great they have changed the date of your holiday. :tup
