Hey, Hey, Hey it's weigh day :!: Lost 2lb!!!! BUT gained 4-5lb over the past couple of weeks :cry:

Not been around much as I've been too busy stuffing my face :oops: With only 3wks left till holidays I'm never going to fit into any of my clothes that I bought last summer when I was a WHOLE STONE slimmer.

This will be the first year that I have failed miserably. I'm going to work hard over the next 3wks though and try and lose another 4-5lbs.

Everone seems to be doing really well - good on ya!!

Hope everyone is doing ok. I lost another 1.5lb this week. 1lb away from 2½ stone - next week :).

Anyway, I feel really good. Been out this week and started making my first (for a long time anyway) size 14 purchases :D for my holiday. The way I feel at the moment, if I don't loose any more weight between now and when we go in September, I will still be ecstatic. Mind you, I do intend on loosing a bit more - another half a stone plus 1lb would mean a small(er) size 14 or even a size 12 :shock: and that will be wonderful.

Feeling positive everyone and sending out those vibes. Good luck all :gluck.

I weighed in last night and lost 1lb - total lost at class 7.5lb so I got my half stone award. :wink: I knew if I kept going I would get there, as SW is the 'one' for me. It has taken me a while. Hoping to lose as close to another stone before I go away - 6 weeks to do it???? So I need a few 'good' weight losses. Of to make a SW recipe for tea.

Been detoxing since Sunday - ie no vino!!!!! However...... having a wee glass tonight to celebrate booking my May 08 holiday!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lost another 2 lbs and I have went down a dress size, I am now a 14 but want to be a 12 before I go in 5 weeks time. I think I will need to use tread mill for the next few weeks as well as dieting :roll:
Everybody seems to be doing so well on their diets this now :)

Hope everyone is good and welcome Coppachick. Seems like everyone is doing really well this week.

I stayed the same this week. I have been so good too - truely I have. No cheating whatsoever. Oh well, at least I didnt put any on but it is really disappointing. Its the first time its happened since starting Slimming World all those weeks ago. The worst thing is that I knew it was coming, I was even prepared for it, but for it to happen after a really good week :cry: its so disappointing. I even contemplated fish and chips for tea to drown my sorrows but luckily I remembered in the nick of time that it wouldn't be a good idea :roll:

Going to have to do extra well this week. Have a good week everyone :gluck all and keep up the good work.

Hi im new have lost 10lbs in 8 weeks at ww. I put on last week and had been really good. Looking over my weight loss I realise that I have water retention during certain times of the month. Knowing this helps me to keep going because it shows up the week after. Anyone got any ideas to get rid of it. Thanks.

cfc fan have you tried aqua ban, I find it help with the water retention and the bloating :)

Hope there is 'less' of us on this site - weight wise :lol:
I put on 1lb last week, know why so that is something.
I have 5 weeks until I go away so starting today I am doing the 'fast forward' plan on SW. You can do it for a max of 2 weeks - it really is a 'diet' you are allowed upwards of 18 units depending on your weight, it really puts you back on track we have had some real good weight losses at the class I go to a lot use it when they are 'stuck' a few pounds from target weight :lol: There is a bit of weighing things which for those of us on SW is unusual. :?
I will let uou know how I get on :wink:

Fast Forward is fantastic, Irene! Although a lot of willpower is needed good luck!!!

On holiday, I put 8lbs on :oops: but had the weigh in yesterday and in 2 weeks i've lost that plus another 1lb! :) So thats 9lbs in 2 weeks :D

Very well done for losing what you put on plus another 1lb :D Was that with fast forward? If not how did you get on when you did fast forward? I am going to be strict with myself, as long as I get a good first day I think I will be ok. How long did you do on FF? Sorry to ask loads of questions, but when you hear success stories it really helps.

Something I didn't get clear at class - units. I am 10st 11lb with at least 1 stone to lose ideally 1.5 stone am I right in working on 18 - 20 units per day?

My mum is a retured SW consultant, and she agreed that you're allowed 19 units a day. Any more questions, let me know. She's been a consultant for 12 years, and only retired a few weeks ago so she's pretty clued up!

The first time I did fast forward for 1 whole week, I lost 10lbs! I've since been doing it for 3 days at a time, to get back on track, and found my weight loss going between 3 and 6lbs.

I'm currently doing regular food optimising, one day of red, two green (I'm semi veggie so my choices are limited on a red day) but you'd get a strong weightloss on mix to max!
If a big weight gain has occured in a short period of time, I normally have little trouble getting it off providing I get back on the plan ass soon as possible!

Just joined the gym as well :D
Best of luck with FF, it can get tough but it's totally worth it! And don't be disapointed if you go to class and don't get an amazing loss, as it'd come off the week after if this is the case!

Thanks for sorting out the units - I have just totalled up and have had 21 today :cry: Can't do anything about that now.
10lb in 1 week is brilliant - half of that would for me :)
I am a veggie so looking at the meus I will be repeating several of them. Someone at class said yo can do it for a max of 2 weeks but I think you have got to have a will of iron to do that.
