And guess what?
Im from County Antrim in N Ireland
Yes I do know what you mean, we are asked if we are English all the time
County Antrim hey? I could just tell that you were "English" Tootsie!!! Jenny x
However, we too, have experienced large groups people who completely take over the hotel, 'bombing' into the pools, drunk in the evening, kids running around, up and down the lifts in the early hours of the morning and very very loud!
In May, we took a cheap break away to Tossa de Mar in 2* accommodation. I was obviously, a little apprehensive and didn't expect too much. It was a 2nd holiday, cheap week abroad.
We were, however, pleasantly surprised. The accommodation was excellent, but more so, we didn't experience any of the above bad behaviour. No large loud groups, no 'bombing' in the pool(!) no drunks at night. Don't get me wrong, we like a drink, and so did the clientele there, but everyone drank without being a nuisance and a pain in the to other holidaymakers. We had a lovely time, infact, one of the best holidys we have ever had, and meeting some of the nicest people we have ever met on holiday
Having said that, are back at 4* in the Summer, fingers crossed ....................
