Apologies to Wizard for posting here as I know there is a dedicated topic in General............ but I was after specific info on if these are likely to be a problem in the Lagos area for the last two weeks of July?

Especially as I am around the Marina, will that make a difference?

My hazy memory tells me that in P de Luz in 1999 it wasn't a problem but in Cabanas in 2000 we were eaten alive. Both of these hols were at the same time of year. (dont know if time of year makes a difference)

Should I take plug ins, sprays, itch cream etc ?
