Sorry but i tend to agree with the last post, if you want to sell it in turkey then you will only be given the price of the actual gold and if it is'nt 18 carat they won't even be bothered with it. your best bet is to get a proper valuation done here, it will cost you about £15 or so, H.samuels or the better jewellery shops will do one for you. and then either take it and try to sell it at a second hand jewellers here or try ebay.

kevin is right even in the uk they will try to buy it for scrap value but do get a valuation on it then try a small shop or even a pornbrokers its worth trying about

Loads of jewelers in turkey will buy back stuff you have bought from them in the past ,but i think you will be struggling to sell them anything bought over here , there are literally thousands of jewelers in turkey and i think i have been in half of them ,bought plenty of good stuff over there .I think the best you can do is to get a valuation certificate over here and try to sell it privately. yeap:(( my ear rings price was 160 Liraz. i didnt like it and went back later to give them back or to change. they offered me 60 Liraz. that all....was really upset...

turtle......... sorry to say but thats the price they probably bought then for wholesale................ they look to make between 100 and 200 %. Gold is sold by the weight not the amount of work done, so the chunkier the more pricey. I will try and find out the gold price they use, then people can ask the weight and get a rough idea of wholesale price for bargaining purposes.

When I bought jewellery a couple of years ago they were charging roughly £6.50-£7.00 a gramme for 14 carat gold.
