Hi all, I just want to give all heading to San An a word of warning. My daughter was mugged last night by a couple operating together. The blonde female (english) asks for directions then a guy comes from behind to steal the handbag. Her bag was whats known as a side bag, one that goes over the head so is accross the body. He was so determined to get it she was knocked to the floor and left with just the straps on her shoulder, he yanked it so hard. I don't want to be negative about San An as I love it in the bay myself and have been twice already this year, but I felt that these two seemed so well practised that they'll probably be operating for the rest of the season. I realise this can happen anywhere, but if in San An and find yourself in a similar situation, don't stop. My daughter lost her purse, phone, digital camera (only bought at weekend ) and got a bloody knee for her trouble.
