I don't remember very much in Loughton itself, but things change. The nearest place I can think of is The Roebuck in Buckhurst Hill and the Post House in Epping. Other than that, have you considered using YELL and typing in Loughton and guesthouses?

Loughton is just a few miles from me . the only other hotel i can think of is the Marriott just off the M25 junction . may come under waltham abbey. loughton is more of a residential area with a good high street for shopping but there are many lovely places close by including Epping forest on its doorstep.
