Hi Guys
I have just been onto Thomson re a holiday that I was going to book as the brochure price was fantastic. Unfortunately it looks like Thomson has made an error with the prices stated in the brochure to the extent of over £300 difference. My question is should the honour the prices stated in the Brochures and if so what is the legal persepective??
Advice greatly appreciated.

I think you will find the brochure price is just really a guide and the proper price will be at the time of booking, as prices change all the time.
But if you're going somewhere that operates in US$, they should be offering you holidays cheaper than what's in the brochure!
The thing that is really frustrating is the £300 price difference on the brochure price so to me the price stated is not even a guide. I am aware that the prices can vary however this is not even in line with the economy and the brochure price is a flat rate not including all flight supps, meals etc.

During my years in business I spent many hours proof reading proposed adverts - It could be a genuine error. They do happen.

The company I work for are now on 3rd edition, so a 1st or 2nd edition brochure will be out of date.
Also, Thomsons booking terms & conditions state that they reserve the right to change prices.
Think this is a non starter. Plenty of other TO's around who will be glad to take your money and give you just as good if not better holiday that Thomson.

Unfortunetly I only get brochures to read up on hotels now,you cant work out a price and go and book a holiday now,we booked a holiday to Tunisia for this October, next day it had up nearly £200 each, now come on isnt that ridiculous, that was with Thomsons.
