mickmill 1`s 14 going on 21 and the other is 8 but the 14 yr old always finds friends and we dont see her all holiday

Mine kids are 11 and nearly 3 The youngest was just 5 months when she went to SM for the first time:P

Our camera is a digital camcorder, that uses a card and tape. But I'm told I can upload the tape to the PC, we shall see, not convinced myself :oops:

We're not going back, I want to but hubby wants one year somewhere else, we will be back hopefully 09 though. However my daughter is planning to go but hotel are not replyin, anyone know if we would be able to book if we phoned them up?

We have booked for next year 5th July for 2 weeks.Went for the first time this year and really enjoyed it can't wait to go back again.

Fridge hire

Hi all, can anyone give me the cost of hiring a fridge for 2 weeks at the S/M hotel and are they easy to get hold of, or should i e:mail the hotel asking for one... Thank you, only 21 days to go before we go back :yipee

Hi pooh E2, - hope you're feeling better now. Fridges are 3 euros a night, so 42 euros for two weeks. Never had a problem getting one, but we normally e-mail them a few days before we go and it's usually in the room a couple of minutes after you've arrived and paid for it.

Hi All,

Cant seem to find the link for Ymca San Miguel, can some one pm me please.
Should of been going tomorrow 8th Sept for my Silver Wedding but hubby's work would not give him a week off, very upset about this, i love San Miguel.

Just a few more queries if anyone can help?

What brand of lager does the hotel serve? (Apologies if this has been mentioned before but i did a search on the forums and couldn't find anything)

Also have read elsewhere on the net that the village of San Miguel has its fiesta on Sep 29 - has anyone been to this in previous years? Is it worth the trip or really just for locals.

Got an idea that the beer is Cruzcampo. It takes a bit of getting used to but after a few it's ok.

Hiya

this will be our 3rd time. We didn't go this year, as we wanted a change.We booked again for the SM because the hotel has everything we need for our family group at a good value for money price.
On the whole this is the type of place I think you'd love or hate, hence the reviews. I think that they struggle to keep on top of things in the height of the season, we saw a massive difference in standards when we went in the July compared to May.
I think that June is a good time to go, and you'll probably have a really good time.

Still cant find how to get to YMCA video!

"Anyone who wants to watch the ymca video, just go onto the home page of the video hosting site - surely you've all heard of it - and just type in san miguel hotel. There are two clips on there. As for the late check out rooms you can book these directly with reception, it is cheaper than booking it through thomsons as thomsons obviously take a cut for doing it for you."

I don't know what the home page of the video hosting site is.... :oops:
