I have been asked by a television company to help with a program which will involve a hunter/gatherer/definitely fisherman and a chef.
The two will be going to many parts of Spain and living off the land.

They are coming to my neck of the woods (Mojacar to Almeria) have obviously offered lots of advice on the fishing and am sorting all their licenses but "Hunter Gathering" I dont know so much about.

Now presumably in late October there will be a few almond trees with nuts on still and maybe some pomegranite trees with fruit. Herbs such as rosemary and thyme will be plentiful. I doubt hedgehog would be on the menu? (Joking) but I suspect if we get some rain then snails may show themselves.

I'm sure a few oranges and lemons from the ground would not be missed but thats all I can think of.

They are particularly interested in finding a Spaniard who speaks good English,a bit of a charactor and does a bit of hunting and/or gathering.
