though as a seasoned (salt & pepper to taste) Caravanner we hardly use our oven we tend to eat Al Fresco most of the time
except winter - yes we do go away when it snows too
But we use a couple of alternatives
1/ a Cadac
2/ a slow cooker/ multi cooker
3/ the grill
From what you have described you have got a European produced Caravan and AFAIK none are produced with ovens
Got to ask as I'm nosey -- WHY do you need an oven ????
Hi Gray, thanks for replying. The van is a British model as fsr as I know, the door`s on the right side anyway. As to why I need an oven, we use the oven a lot when on holiday. I refuse to fry in the caravan, and the grill isn`t really big enough to cook a main meal on, and quite simply, I need an oven for most of what I cook. Also, I don`t like microwaved food.
The 'Practical Caravan' forum springs to mind.
Thanks Oklahoma, I might try them.
hi are you on about a gas oven if so ring your nearest caravan dealer and also put a search on google if you want a eletric oven we always use one when on hookup had one for years from currys but lidl have them when on offer they are £19 99 and are brill
Thanks for all the replies, I`ve ended up with a few places to look.

Hi I don't have an oven but use a Remoska from Lakeland it works really well as long as you have electric might save you some expense, I bought mine for use in the caravan but now use it almost daily at home less power than oven and only 2 of us, my elderly mother has also bought one and uses it a lot
hi most site have 10amps so you have to be carefull what you put on some sites do have 16amps i can have my fridge hot water and elec oven at one time but dont put kettle on why use gas when on hookup
from sue
If you are lucky Yes in the UK 10-16 amps is the norm
BUT
switch on
Fridge 3amp
hot water 3amp
Battery charger 1 ~2 amp
if the electric oven is any more than 750watt (3amp) you're stuffed
Then consider going to France most sites there are only 6amp supply and Italy 3amps is normal
Wouldn't be without it, only thing I would say is that it probably won't add any value when you come to sell it or trade it in unfortunately

If not a quick fix alternative is an Hinari portable oven, there only small but it would put you on until you get what you want. WE bought ours for our folding camp and it`s brilliant, we paid £12 from poundstretcher. We can warm pies, nan breads and most smaller things.
Sorry to have been so long in replying. We decided not to bother with the expense of installing an oven, so we had a holiday with a microwave, not popular with me, and then we were going to sell the van and buy one with an oven already there. Anyway, we`ve now decided to go for it and have an oven put in before next year. I enquired at a local caravan dealer as to how much they`d charge to fit one in for us if we bought one, and they said somewhere around £120, they couldn`t quote me for providing the oven as well without seeing the van. Anyway, we`ve a few months to get it sorted. Thanks for all the replies.
