Underwater cameras

Regarding the mju700sw, my brother has one and I borrowed it to take to Mauritius with me (got back last night!) since I couldn't take my normal array of camera equipment (scuba) due to luggage restrictions. Anyway, as a camera, its ok. Picture quality isn't too bad but it has all the usual constraints of digital point and shoots, shutter lag, slow focus speeds, digital noise etc. By the time you've composed the shot and the camera has focussed / taken the photo, the fish is long gone! My biggest issue with this camera is the screen. Since it doesn't have a viewfinder, you have to use the LCD screen and its pretty much useless on bright days. On cloudy days or indoors, its fine but if you plan on using it in the sun (ie on hols), I'd save your cash and get something with a proper viewfinder. The very slow responce (shutter lag / focus) and impossible to use screen above and below water are its major let downs. If those could be improved, they'd be on to a winner.
