Any updated info please on excursions...
Is it cheaper to use the local buses/taxis, to various attractions? Than book at our rep meeting at the hotel.
Bus timetables and local maps. Do the hotels (Terreza Mar Sunsuites is where we are staying) have the brochures or where do we obtain them from?
Planned trips are Camel Safari.....Jeep Safari.....Dolphin watch......local bus or boat trip to Peurto Mogan.
Talking of maps........our aparthotel doesn't seem to exist on any of the maps I have looked at.......are there any updated maps I can access on the web.

We've just got back last sunday from a week in Terazza mar sunsuites.. I must say this hotel is fantastic! service is A1, VERY clean and tidy..
Make sure you go to the welcome meeting when you get there as this has ALL the excursions you can possibly need.
You must walk to the harbour and go for a ride on BIG RED! but be aware... YOU GET TOTALY SOAKED lol! well worth it 30 euros each adult and 20 euros a child...
try the water park and camel ride afterwards,, you go through a nudist beach, we didnt see anyone apart from Fritz and his Bitz lol!! kids will love the camel ride.
If you get hassled by 'come in here to eat' or Anfi beach reps, just tell them you've eaten already, and you've already been to Anfi beach, its timeshare!
Pm me ive got some pics if you want to take a look at the pool are and the camels and Big Red!
P.S for the dolphin watch, if you go to the harbour where big red is, theres a dutch bloke stood just to the left of him as you walk up the harbour wall, advertising the dolphin watch, its 3 hours and if you dont see anything you go back out whenever you choose for FREE until you DO see them.. Its well worth the money as its a brilliant day out!
We did the ferry boat to Puerto Mogan (not on the Friday Market Day), stopping off in the dolphin zone and not seeing one....and to Anfi (not to see the the timeshare).
Had the JOY!!! of going on the trip Playa de Englise by night, and it turned out basically for the youngsters. As the coach trip was 10 euros return we thought it a cheap way of getting there, would have been 28 euros single trip by taxi. Ah, so what, we departed with their company and took off on our own leaving them to get totally drunk and relieved of their cash at the bars they would be crawling around to.
We did find a brilliant Brazilian Bar tucked away in the Kasbah Centre and had a good evening listening and dancing to Latin American music.
For those into Heavy Rock Metal and Goth music there was a place for you a few strides away.
There are lots of excursions offered by your tour reps, some can be accessed by local bus or taxis.
Now I am returning next May with my elderly mum, and for the life of me could not and cannot find coach trips to the hills, caves etc which would be ok for my mum. Any suggestions would be greatly recieved, other than hiring a car, (don't do driving on holiday).
THE GRAND ISLAND TOUR: Visting Ingenio, Telde, Tafira, the crater of Bandama, villages in the mountain, Teror, the mountaintops, Fataga and other interesting places.
There are also other tours around the island, like to Presa Chira, Puerto Mogan and similar, but the grand island tour takes you to many of the best places.
LAS PALMAS: Sightseeing and shopping in the capital - different touroperators takes you here.
Plus different cruises and dinner shows (Garbo's or Meloneras Casino f.ex.).
