Its that time of year again when the stats start coming out on passenger numbers and aircraft movements.
No major changes in the Top 10. Atlanta remains the busiest with 84.8 Million passengers a year, followed by Chicago O'Hare at 76.2 Million. Heathrow still a repectable 3rd with 67.5 Million followed by Tokyo (HND) at 63.2 Million.
Beijing has leapt to Number 10 with an increase of over 18%. Other European airports in the top 10 are Paris and Frankfurt. Amsterdam has now slipped from 10th to 12th. Gatwick is 24th (34.1 Million)...which is commendable for a single runway airport. Stansted is there at number 46 and Manchester at 50 (down from 48 at 22.7 Million.) Palma is still showing a good number of passengers at Number 51 up from 53 (22.4 Million) and Malaga is in the Top 100 at number number 96 (13 Million).
