I was surprised to see that Venetian was one of the good ones to try it at - we didn't realise, and didn't try it. We tried and failed at Bellagio. We got offered an upgrade for several extra $ per night and turned it down.

Just arrived home from Heathrow.............absolutely shattered !

Had a great time and loved The Venetian Hotel, I'll do a full trip report for all you Vegas aficionados and my take on the Vegas experience

How is Palazzo looking?

Sleep came easily yesterday and back to work today

I'm typing the report up in word so I can then copy and paste it when it's finished.

Luci, The Venetian was fabulous & everything we could have hoped for & more. Lesley, I didn't have to try the $20 trick as we were automatically upgraded as they'd screwed up the booking and only had an upgraded suite available to accommodate us The Palazzo looks fabulous, very impressive and they seem to be working flat out getting it finished which doesn't look far off at the moment......when's it supposed to open ?

As soon as the reports done I'll get it one here, still on Vegas time so it's around 2am for me right now

The Palzzo was due to on on 20 December, but bookings for the first few days have been cancelled and pushed back to either the 28 or 29 December, but that's not set in stone yet.

Apparently it's a "soft" opening with only a couple of restaurants opening to begin with.
