Hello, does anyone know of any cheap ish hotels preferably on the same road as Park avenue, Ticlo, but a bit further up towards the likes of Subway, tito's etc.
We won't be visiting those, but we like that part of the beach.
I know the Ronnil beach resort and CSM are in good locations, im looking for a hotel around that area.

There's a bar at the junction of the Baga Road and the CSM road called Pinto's that has pretty good rooms - they're about two or three years old. It's not a hotel but Pinto's is a great spot for a nightcap.
Yummy I know that Lazy Days has some nice appartments (Adolf give us a guided tour in Feb) and if Iam not mistaken there were a few other places on the CSM road which advertised accomodation, all were in an Ideal location for the beach, bars & places to eat ect.....Keith
Hi, thanks for both replies. We are looking for somewhere with a swimming pool as my son likes to swim, and im not keen on him going in the sea as its rough.
I think i'll go back to Park Avenue, but the only disadvantage is its not as far up Baga road as we'd like it to be.

Cavala Beach Resort along the the Baga Beach road is good. Almost at the beach

We've chosen a hotel from lowcostbeds, called Hotel Colonia De Braganza , which says its situated in Calangute close to the beach.
Could anyone tell me its exact location?
Is it at the baga end of calangute, or the candolim end?

Seems an odd choice as this hotel is up from the crossroads at Calangute down a lane by the Red Lion pub, there is an open sewer down this road. Stayed there in April last year and it is pretty basic but ok.
Why not try Aldeia Bello which is further up the Baga road just down from the primary school.

Am i right in thinking this hotel is near the road that the log cabin pub is on? Near Park avenue hotel and the Ticlo? Is it just off the road where the Mira is, and Molly Malones?
I have stayed in Aldeia Bello before, in 2000,but its not exactly cheap is it?
Im not too fussed where our hotel is now, as long as its close to Baga road

Santiago hotel has a place called Villa Santiago - I think you get to use santiago pool if you stay there. Also there's a place called Sun Park almost next to Santiago- that has a pool and is currently being renovated.
