Can anyone advise - looking to go in December 2008 and back in Jan 2009 (over the Xmas / New Year period for approx 4 wekks. More or less got the apartment sorted but do I wait till nearer the time to try and find a cheapish flight. Always gone package before this is the first time of doing it myself (well with hubby too)

Hi Sue. We are staying at the Somy Resort in Calangute, found it on the Thomas Cook website back about July time, and just had to book it at that price. Went to have a look in November and it looks OK to me. We will have a good time anyway.

No bushbaby I will have to get round to doing a hotel review ,,and a holiday report ..I just never seem to get round to it ..

colleen the reviews on the somy are really good as i'm sure you've read.what a lucky find-as you say how can you not book it at that price-to think we paid much the same for a week in majorca in september.and the weather was iffy!
