I've never stayed there, but I know it gets a lot of return guests.
Its a small hotel about 5-10 minutes walk from the beginning of Bar Street and the beach in Gumbet, so fairly central.

Hi. Can't comment on the Ali Baba as I've never stayed there. However, just a word of advice- when we were thinking of booking the hotel Baba a few years ago I got a few replies from people who were talking about the Ali Baba (which is where you want to go). At the time the Hotel Baba was a much better hotel with far better reviews than the Ali Baba. Just be sure that you don't mix the two up as they're both in Gumbet. I believe that the Ali Baba is not as central as the Baba.
