I really think that is the least they can do after all they are one Company, although I know shop staff are on commission and will get nothing out of helping an on-line or phone booked.
I think TO's must be making more money form the premium rate phone lines than they are from selling the flipping holidays.

Rachel from my local shop as just this minute rang me(I have sources all over she said they have been trying to get through as well and although they have different numbers to clients, its always engaged etc because of the change overs, so its not just the clients. She also said that please read the T & cs really well, even though they are boring, it may have clauses to help you with your decision making.
I too have booked the Tropitel Naama bay after my booking was "changed". Got it really cheap with XL.com who now do package holidays aswell as flights !
spent another 45 mins on hold tonite until they closed and still didnt get the chance to speak to anyone i am really starting to get so upset about it all, not only is it my time and money im wasteing but they also dont respond to emails so all i can do is keep trying
Well we are back from The Ghazala Gardens or as Thomas Cook prefer to call it the Sonesta Beach
Firstly I will start off by saying that we had a fantastic stay in the Sonesta Beach and would def go back there again.
We did go up to the Ghazala Gardens for a look and must say that the public areas all look lovely and the pool area is stunning.
We were surprised when we went in to find the Thomas Cook rep sitting there, speaking to her she told us that very few of the TC clients were going there now and most were being moved to other hotels, according to her the hotel will be fully German clientele from the summer.

I have recieved my letter today telling me of my summer flight times being changed, booked when it was Airtours and now of course it's TC, but am taking it in my stride, didn't expect anything else really. (Turkey not Egypt )

Hi Andy, I went up to the Sonesta Club hotel and had a look around it for you and took some pictures.
The hotel actually looks nice, I didn't get to see in the room but did ask a couple of guests what they thought of the hotel and the rooms, they all said that it was very nice and they were having a good time with no complaints.
As far as I could see it looks very nice with plenty of space with nice grounds and lovely pools. The down side is that it is slightly further out of Namma bay than the Ghazala Gardens and to get to the beach you have to go through the Sonesta Beach hotel on the other side of the road.

We know where the hotel is and will still be able to walk to the dive centre in Naama bay. safer than taking the taxis out there.

still waiting for the deposit i have now spent £50 on phone calls to this awful company im not happy and still nowhere near to getting it i doubt just keep getting fobbed off and there seems to be nothing i can do about it
