Are the pool veiw rooms away from any noise of disco's and bars. I have requested pool view room.

The discos and bars are on the other side of the main road, and the hotel reception is down a long drive..... most of the pool view rooms are well away from the front road. Hope that helps.

Just checking availablity and it looks as if the hermera is sold out for most months now with all the tour ops. Cosmos has nothing left in august now and a couple of dates with free child places in september. The brit numbers must be up this year because last year I could of got the hemera in july and august booking at the end of may until the end of june.

im not too sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing if there are less places for the hemera there will be less deals .. :sun2 :sun2

There are less flights so less spaces, probably thomas cook have offered same hotels to their other european businesses rather than uk. Dont forget that some european countries still think the British should not be going to Antalya region.
I have heard this several times in the hemera from german guests. Funny how they think we cant understand them!!!!!

Well I think we all should complain to the eu racist germans, russians and europeans. what I am not used to is russians and believe they are rude, well I will live and learn.

I think its disgusting the germans would think we shouldn't go to a area of turkey, what the way they have taken over nearly every brit resort in majoarca. I what I do find more amazing is how many brits are happy with a part of turkey which have no decent beaches.

I don't know on the flight thing because even though the hemera is fully booked with brit tour ops I can still find most other hotels for the school hols dates.

I have booked for the Hemera for this Christmas and when i booked i have had to take a flight from Manchester and i only live half an hour from Stansted! When i asked would they be putting more flights on as this was only January and there was 11 months to go
so surely more people would be booking they said no no extra flights.
As for the Germans saying things about us Brits, well i have to say we were at the Delphin in Antalya last Christmas and they were all very friendly, but then again i think most thought we were Germans anyway as they would start speaking in German to us, but even so we had no problems, in fact on the Gala dinner on New Years Eve we had a German couple aged about 60( sitting with us (6 Brits) and they were lovely and boy could they jive LOL. There were Russians, Ukrainians and Israelis and the only thing i found a bit off was the way some of them eat. but other than that no probs at all.Personally i prefer not to go to Brit resorts, they have been ruined, and if i wanted egg and chips and burgers i can get them at home why bother going abroad? My advice is don't let anything put you off going, the Turks are very nice people and so is everyone else if you treat them as you expect to be treated. Last Christmas was our first time to Turkey, we are going back to Anatalya in July and Side this Christmas.

i must say i have always found the visitors to the hemera on the whole very polite even the germans and russians . the dutch are very polite and to be perfectly honest i wouldnt want the hemera to become mostly british as we all know what some brits are like when abroad .

davidstoncold, my point exactly, i dont want to be where there are thousands of other brits who want everything they can get in England.... Fry ups, burgers, chips with everything and English pubs and the ability to get off their heads on cheap booze and the resulting damage that causes.
I was looking back at some of the posts, and the one where it was said why would brits want to go to a place without decent beaches, well Anatalya may not have th best beaches but then again the place is still being built! plus the fact that most of the 5 star hotels are there, you dont really need a beach, well we didnt lol, too much going on and fun to be had in the hotel to want to leave it.

thats my view on the hemera too much going on in the hotel , and the beach isnt too bad either.

I like a mixture of people and on the food I like to try dishes from other countries, but I do like a fry up for breakfast instead of cold meats and cheese. Last year hotel I went to was 95% german and all the kids were well behaved, I know if they were brit kids the sun loungers would of been in the pool and not all but some would be running riot with the parents quite happy for them to carry on while they carried on their none stop drinking.

I had a look in a brit hotel up the road our hotel walked in the bar was packed with mutton dressed as lamb, filled with a fog of smoke and every table full of booze with the kids running around madly. I could of got the hotel hiati with thomsons for £480 for 3 of us a week in july but I opted to pay £1000 for a better hotel and it was worth every penny to the hotel gran vista, ca'n picafort majorca

Does anyone know if we can book Hemera Hotel independently for Christmas,14 nights, and approx cost for 2 people? Cant access their e-mail address to find out!! Might it be cheaper to book package - does anyone know who goes there? We would really appreciate any help. :)

I left Hemera on 11 December, just as they were gearing up for Xmas - it was getting full of lots of long-stay germans, swiss and belgians, in their mature years who went to bed early and complained that dinner was late at 7pm!!!! Only 6 english in hotel.
Hemera dont sell rooms on their own i dont think, and flights are limited, best of luck!

Looks like cosmos are now all sold out in august, no august holidays left to the hemera with all tour ops. There will be a few disappointed people out there think of booking late. Last year I could of booked the hemera easily right upto the school summer hols.

same here, never booked more than 6 weeks in advance for 3 visits last year, but have March and May booked and paid for months ago..... just hope its not full to bursting.....

I think its a combination of free or reduced kids places to 14 years old and low deposit offers. Where can you find a hotel of this quality with free kids or reduced kids prices to 14. I can find the odd A/I hotel with free kids to 16 but I wouldn't want to stay in any of them. They are stuck of the way and reveiws are not good. I don't know if the hemera had free kids place to 14 with most of the tour ops last year.
