Not sure. We were there at the end of the season last year leaving on Sunday 29th April and all the locals knew that the last charter left on the Monday. We flew Monarch but were not quite the last flight out.
I also flew back home on Sunday 29th April. Some locals were saying we were the last flight, but I am sure I heard there was another on the Tuesday???
I came home on the last flight last year. It was a First Choice Flight. We landed back in Manchester on Tuesday 1 May.
Is it worthwhile going for the last week? Will it be warm ? hot? We've been there quite a few times (Jan /Feb)so no trips etc needed, but would like to think there might still be a few sunbeds on the beach! Thinking of staying around Calangute / Candolim so hopefully not completly deserted. Any advice appreciated as we would need to get visa applics off soon!
Its very hot and humid at night tho.
My OH saw a deal in Thomas Cook shop window yesterday flying out 8 April for £369, dont know if it was 7 or 14 nights.
Thanks Gemma. There's one Monarch flight out on the 18th of April which would suit us for our available time off and connections, but there's only premimum seats available at the moment - available from Goa Way - anyone used them? Also read elsewhere here that the wind gets up during the day at this time of year? We might try an apartment this time ,so thanks for the 'hot & humid at night' tip - will make sure it has A/C.
