Morning everyone,
Well the weekend has not been too bad anything I had extra I counted as syns and working on 10 per day I have 7 left for 2 days so I need to be extra careful!!!
Going to have a 'warming' Quorn sausage casserole tonight can't find the recipe I saw in a recent SW magazine so will make my own sauce with toms, onion, mushroom, spices etc.
Hoping to see a weight loss tomorrow.
Not noticed any difference with the kelp tablets - supposed to make you wee more not in my case.
Speak soon.
Irene
You always seem to be cooking such lovely dinners - the casserole sounds lovely. Can I come over? (I could be over in an hour or so- I live near Manchester) LOL
Good luck with the weight losses everyone... I was very naughty last night and ate several chocs that one of my son's bought me for Mother's Day........
Cheers Denny
My my..... I seemed to have turned you all into sea kelp junkies Goodluck with those everyone.
Lordy your mum must be thinking of another plan because fast forward you dont have A or B sections and your not allowed any syns it is very strict ( even weighing your veg) but its what i needed at the time (needed this piece of paper to say "thats all you can have" and not another crumb should pass your lips. It really does work but as i say you have to be 100% and the consultants dont really like to give it out.
Goodluck everyone
Kerrie
If someone is having problems the only thing they are told is to write a food diary and to make sure they weigh everything in the A/B sections and Syns section.
Consultants only use the fast forward as a last resort. It will normally be offered if you have been struggling for a long time, sticking to plan and maintaining for a good few weeks. I was pulling my hair out when i got it and about to leave slimming world as i thought it was not working for me anymore, For anyone that has been struggling for ages and needs something strict to get them back on track ( plan will seem a doddle after fast forward so no problems being 100%) Ask your consultant about it and see if she can help.

No loss and no gain this week ... so back to the ol' drawing board again!!
Oh well CiderMonster, your loss so far is fab!! Keep at it
True .. just don't want to fall off the wagon (or is it on the wagon?)
Well it is weigh in tonight.
Not feeling 100% this morning - I suffer from chesty coughs, (hazard of being a receptionist in a High School), woke up this morning and my chest is very tight and sore - usually sip honey, hot water and lemon but no honey in the cupboard will nip up to the chemist shortly for something.
Denny - Regarding the Kelp tablets I take 1 per day as recommended on the bottle - we will all be 'kelp' junkies better than the cheese junkie that I was.
The sauce I had with my Quorn sausages was very tasty - I will be sending invites next time I make it.
Irene
Cheers Irene, good luck with the weigh in and hope you are feeling better Denny
Mmm... I seem to have gone off the rails after buying an iced top brioche for the family at Costco..and it was sooo yummy that I have been going back and tearing off a bit each time I pass. So I am expecting a gain this week.
Anyway, I was just wondering what any of you do when on holiday to limit the damage so to speak!! I, of course love food and booze but as I am going on a 2 week holiday I don't want to be feeling blobby in my bikini come the second week!
So, any tips would be appreciated that allow me to be as normal as possible (eating habits of course....mental health is another issue......ha ha )
Cheers, Squirrel.
Seems everyone is plodding along nicely. Not going to class tonight as husband is working (his shift patterns have changed and its all up in the air at the moment) and I have no car and a young daughter to put to bed in time for school tomorrow. I had a chat with my consultant this morning and because of these difficulties, she is going to put me down as a shift worker so I wont be charged for missing class as long as I attend on the alternate weeks.
It was a very nice chat actually. I told her that I seem to have lost the way a bit and she told me not to give up because Im only 4½ lbs away from my 4 stone target and to give up now would be such a waste. She also cheered me up by saying that im her group's "biggest loser" having lost 3stone 10lbs and her "star slimmer". Did give me a bit of a pep up and encouraged me to behave myself today.
I will be back on track from now on and lose that 4½ lb just to prove that I can do it.
Good luck everyone.
Sarah
Just back from class and I needed 1lb for my first stone award and I lost 2.5lb I am really chuffed. It must be about 3 years sibce I was the weight I am now. 3 changes this week for me were walking at lunch - just 20 mins but brisk, brunch on Saturday and Sunday and Kelp tablets so it was one, two or all three but something did it for me after 3 weeks of maintaining. Now I need 1lb for my club 10 award.
Sarah - lovely to hear from you again, was nice of your consultant to let you be classed as a shift worker and how lovely to be her no 1 in class - well done you.
Speak soon.
Irene
I think I have to get this little blip out of my system and keep going. I haven't been able to do my daily walks what with one thing and another and it definitely boosts you for the rest of the day and I have missed that.
Good luck everyone...keep posting
Only just found this forum tonight
Well done to everyone who has lost weight.

We're all doing different things on here. Quite a few people are following Slimming World, some are doing Weight Watchers and others are just calorie counting or simply being good
I'm following Weight Watchers but not going to meetings. What are you thinking of doing?
If it's motivation and support you're looking for, you've come to the right place! We're a great bunch of losers on here

Broken through the 10 stone barier now 9st 13lbs. 6lbs to go until I reach my target and 9 weeks to my holiday. Have lost 15 lbs since Jan 3.
Sandyglen - billiant on you breaking through the 10 stone barrier after my target 10 hopefully by next week that will be my next target you and I must be aiming for 9 and a half stone I have quite a few pairs of shorts, T shirts that I have been unable to wear in the last few years as they have been too tight, so should save a few £££££'s there when holiday shopping, also we only have a 15kg baggage allowance so need to travel light - did it last year easier that I thought.
Keep going everyone.
Irene
Well done Irene for reaching your target
