hello guys and gals!!! i lost 1lb and i cant believe it i havent been on the plan 100% so imagine how much i could have lost if i had been. i asked about the fast forward mentioned earlier and my mam said she remembers it well from our last class and it is basically sticking to super speed foods as well as your healthy a's and b's and sins!!! so i might try it next week and see how i go!! good luck all, lindsay.
Not lost anything this week so far. Knew it was going to get harder now to get the last 7 lbs off, will keep trying. 10 weeks to go to my holiday - target weight is 9stone 7 lbs. been a bad week with 3 birthdays at work and some very nice cakes
I have just made a big pan of soup with a reduced price casserole veg pack I found on the reduced section at Tesco for....20P !!!!Must be about 8-10 portions there. So I am well pleased. When it cools down I will freeze it in portions .
Hope everyone is well.
Wednesday was great for me only had 1.5 syns. Yesterday was awful - had a horrible day at work, went shopping last night bought some wine and had 2 glasses while cooking the tea - I had a stir fry with Blue Dragon sauce which I have just checked and found out it was 4 syns for half a packet so my total syns for yesterday was 15!!!! Must do better today.
Still not ordered the kelp tablets - going to do that now.

Ooo Irene. I had a chicken stir fry with half a sachet of the oyster and spring onion sauce last night and I only estimated 2 syns for the sauce .I've just checked syns online and you are right
It was worth the 4 syns though for the taste wasn't it? - mine was Hoi syn flavour.
I also bought an Asda sweet and sour one - so going to check that out for syn value as I am going to do more stir fries.

Well it's been another month so I got on the scales this morning and have only lost three pounds this month. Totaling 8lb in two month. Must try harder. Got 11 more weeks to lose 16 pound. Will have to start excercising more rigourusly now the lighter nights are upon us. Swimming in the afternoon, walking of an evening.
I have a confession..........2 caramel filled chocolate digestives passed my lips last night - why I don't know they were there!!!!! However they did make me 'go' if you know what I mean.
Seriously 1st March back on track - I have seen on other sites they set themselves a challenge to lose ? in the month - anyone interested? If I could lose a stone this month I would be at my first target.
Have bought the Kelp tablets - the woman in the health shop said other people had good results when they had reached a plateau on WW so hopefully I will see a good loss soon.
Off to have my brunch - eggy bread, mushrooms and beans.
Speak soon.

Also the Kelp tablets, someone said they made you 'wee' - read on the internet it had something to with metabolism?
ElleDee - I buy the quorn pieces and the fillets (from frozen section in Asda). I make curries with the pieces and have the fillets in sauces (my favourite is Tandoori - mix natural yoghurt with tandoori spices and garlic pour over fillets to marinade and then grill.
The kelp tablets are also good for your hair, nails and skin, yes I have heard they make you 'wee' so maybe you get rid of any water that needs shifting.
Hope this helps.

I'm off to Holland And Barrat now.......................
As much as I liked the idea of Quorn being common to both red and green days and I did give it a go I'm afraid it gave me the most terrible digestive problems .I think it must be the fact that it is mushroom/fungus based. For the same reason I keep away from yeasty stuff. If you can tolerate it it is a good substitute for mince.
I don't like the quorn mince - Asda do their own 'meat free mince' and that is really good for chilli, lasagne and spag bol, in fact the whole family eat that now have not bought beef mince for many years.
Had a busy day, washing, ironing and housework - want to have a quiet, relaxing day tomorrow,
Speak soon.

Don't think i'm gonna lose much this week, if at all ... but i didn't get my regular exercise this week as i've been doing up the bedroom .. so i'm not too bothered!
Cider.....don't fret. I know I've gone over my syns for today. I seem to stop counting at about 8pm
Asda's meat free mince: as listed on packet -
Water, Soya Concentrate (19%), Wheat Gluten, Soya Flour (7%), Vegetable oil, Soya Protein Isolate (15%), Yearsy extract, Barley Malt extract, Salt, Wheat, Starch, Garlic powder, Onion POwder Flavouring. Hope this helps. I am sure all the supermarkets do their own but I would think the ingredients are all similar, I have also had one from Farmfoods the name of which I have forgotten - will ask my sister later as she and and my mum are coming over for Mothers Day Sunday lunch - cooked by hubby.

We were running really late and as we walked past an Indian take away on the way home we decided it would be a good idea! We weren't as bad as we could have been as we shared a dish and a naan, but still very naughty so not holding my breath this week!!
Let us know how you get on with the Kelp tablets. We were really, really bad last night... we had an indian each, shared a rice and naan, bottle of wine each and now feel really, really guilty!!!!
Nice to know I'm not on my own in the naughty corner
