You are 100% right what you say about eating something that you want/crave etc and as long as you stick with that you should see a weight loss at WI.
What really annoyed me was the fact what 'set me off' - a run in with my teenage sons. I know I must have been the same with my mum when asked to do things but my mum didn't work full time and didn't need SW. Next time this happens I am going to walk away from the situation literally and go for a brisk walk or long bath and not raid the cupboard.
Had a huge brunch this morning - Eggy bread, tomatoes, mushrooms and beans - really feel full and looking forward to my SW Spicy Quorn Curry tonight.
Feeling a lot more up beat which is thanks to all 'my friends' on this site - Thanks a lot.
Irene
I went out to Pizza Hut with the family and didn't eat anything I waited until we got home and made myself a curry.
It is a lovely sunny morning here in Wirral - the sun makes you feel so much better doesn't it?
Hbrac - You must have a will of iron - sitting in PH and not eating while the family did.
Yesterday I had my 'head in gear' had a lovely brunch about 11am and then ate only fruit and yoghurt until my SW curry last night followed by a huge fruit salad - only 1 syn all day and I felt really pleased with myself as the weekend can be my downfall just go to watch today but I have planned my menu.
Speak soon.
Irene
well done hbrac i dont think i could have sat there and not touched any pizza
irene my aunty sharon has maintained her weight loss on sw for well over five years and she does this by always planning her week ahead for her and her son. she keeps the menu on the fridge so knows what to buy in advance and just eats free food in between i wish i could be this organised but find it so hard as lee my hubby can eat anything as he is skinny, caleb is coming up 14 months and i work full days on a monday, thursday and friday and one saturday a month.

Hope you have a lovely walk Lindsay - is Caleb your first child? I remember walking miles with the pram with my first (he is nearly 16), less with the my second (he is nearly 13) though probably because when you have another toddler holding onto the pram you don't walk as far - really enjoyed walking and that is why I try and get out for 20 mins at lunchtime (only get 30 mins for lunch).
Planning is easier now, Lindsay must be hard when you are working and have a toddler - admire you. Just had my breakfast bought a bag of frozen Forest fruits from Aldi - defrosted some and had with FF they were really nice - whole black cherries, blackcurrants, raspberries and blueberries - yum.
Off to tidy/clean the boys bedrooms - they could do it themselves but it will keep me busy.

I have had a nice day food wise. Had to take the kids to church for cubs and scouts so just had a banana before i went and took sea kelp.
For lunch i had a meat free burger ( tesco) with fried egg on two peices of ww bread and savoury rice that came to 2.5 syns for burger. I was told about them in class but as i dont like quorn i wasnt going to buy them but did and they are lovely.
For dinner i have just had my roast with 4oz chicken breast, Roasties , carrot and swede, cauli, bocolli, mushy peas and gravy ( 2 syns) and after i had a muller light.
I am going to have a starbar later and thats 13.5 syns. Alot but well worth it.
I know i have gone way over on my syns today but i will pull them back tomorrow and tuesday
Kerrie
yes irene caleb is my first child and i am loving motherhood. we didnt get out for our walk as caleb fell asleep then it clouded over when he woke up so we just went to mothercare and spent loads of money on him instead. then we went to my parents house for sunday dinner very few syns as my mam is on sw too they all had trifle for pudding but i never as i hate the stuff!!! work tomorrow so i will get prawn or chicken salad with plenty of jalopenos and peppers to burn off all the extras i shouldnt have had this week!!!! cant seem to stop eating chocolate!!! hormones and stress related i am sure lindsay
Following on from the conversations in here, i've been trying to make sure i have one night a week where we have some treats ... last week we were out for an indian, and this weekend we shared a pack of Pringles
Cidermonster, I do that too, but always on a Tues after weigh in..... Then I have all week til I get weighed again..... I find I can behave myself if I have a treat to look forward to. Denny
I tend to have a glass or 2 of wine after weigh in - tomorrow night there are 4 of us going for a drink after weigh in, mind you might not be celebrating as I feel quite 'bloated'
Finally had some sweet potato tonight with Quorn sausage and a chilli bean sauce I made - must say I was impressed with the sweet potato although I think I overbaked it!!!!
Let you know how I get on tomorrow night.
Irene
Onwards and downwards now. Got a real challenge this weekend coming though as friend staying over and will be going out for dinner and few drinks so need to plan ahead and save some points during this week.
Weigh in day today for me - not too hopeful stood on the scales at home this mornning and I am over 1lb heavier than my weight at class last week. so goodness knows what it will be tonight - need to lose loads of water by tonight????
My weigh in day ritual is loads of fruit for breakfast, soup for lunch and then I have my meal after weigh in - tonight I am having Tandoori Quorn - all ready marinading in the fridge.
Any tips most welcome.
Irene
I'm in the same boat, didnt go to class last week as I had to work and I have'nt been following plan so god know what the scales will say tonight.
I only have myself to blame. I'm not going to lose the weight I wanted for holiday if I keep on going the way I am. I really need to try and get motivated.
I've just done 10 trips up and down 4 flights of stair to take old files down to the basement in work maybe that will help I need oxygen!!!!
Good luck to everyone this week keep up the good work.
Lynn
llb on last night - (I drank loads of water yesterday afternoon and I think that helped). So it was not as bad as I thought, our consultant said it looked like it was not what I had eaten but something to do with changing to the mini pill.
Lets hope it is onwards and downwards - weight wise.
Speak later.
Irene
Had my weigh in this morning and i lost 1.5. hope its more next week as i am 1 lb below my target of 2lb a week to make it to target for my hols
I have just put a pan of chicken soup on so i will have that for my lunch and i am going out for a drink with hubby tomorrow so hope i can behave myself and stick to my syns. I am going to have boiled rice and a carton of curry out the chippy when i come home so i feel like i am being naughty but i wont be really as the rice is free and the curry 6 syns which i will account for.
Goodluck everyone
Kerrie
1lb off for me this week, pleased with that although I only have 10 days til we go away and I still have 3lbs to go to reach the stone target I set myself. Can't see that happening now
Well done to everyone who's still going, whether you've lost or not this week
Sunaholic
Where are you off to?
Still finding it hard to drink water - hardly anything in the last 2 days apart from yesterday morning when I think I was a bit dehydrated from the wine I drank the previous evening.
Keep going everyone.
Irene
We are going to New York first for 3 nights and then on to Mexico for 11 nights. It's the Mexico bit that's spurred me on, the very thought of baring all in a bikiniWhere are you off to?
Sunaholic
Well just another .5lb loss again this week. It's really getting me down now. I seem to be stuck at this weight and feel i'm never going to reach target. (only 3lbs to go, but still feels unachievable). I altered my target by half a stone a few weeks ago, I should of left it as it was as I would be just under target by now..... I'm taking the Kelp tablets, but they don't seem to be doing anything.
