But he doubts it would deter even Britons from coming to Goa. There have been no cancellations so far. He says:

Great article and so true, but what a shame that Goa can be spoilt in this way
I have just got my Business Visa as we are opening a travel agency in Goa,but definitely having second thoughts now, maybe it's time to invest my money elsewhere.
John
This talk about the Chief Minister and visas. What he doesnt seem to realise is the visa covers the whole of india and not just Goa. As I understand he alone does not have the power to change the rules on visas and certaintly other states welcome foreign visitors, so he is unlikely to get much support.
Thats what I'm not getting either Can Goa be specific with what it lets in? I wouldn't have thought that was possible.
maybe it's time to invest my money elsewhere
A few years ago I was very interested in staying in Goa for 6 months and working remotely (Internet) was also interested in any small business ventures. Not now, I think it would be hard going being British and involved in a business over there just now. Everything seems on a knife edge just now.
