We were unable to get to Goa this year as we had arranged to visit family and friends in Australia and had 6 weeks there instead.Since we returned home I have read with interest some of the reports by those who kindly took the time to write them for us all to enjoy.There does seem to be a definate change in the atmosphere out there (if I am reading the reports right) Gone are the days when you could safetly walk anywhere at anytime, a polite no thanks was good enough for the beach sellers, and the locals were more interested in you and what you done rather than how much you were worth.We all know that places change but in Goas case how many changes have been for the better? I bet we can all remember our 1st visit and thinking how different the place was to anywhere we had been,and we are probably still in touch with the local people we befriended and other holidaymakers we have met over the years.We have booked to return in Feb 09 and we will decide then whether it still has that pull.My only problem is that how many of us could truly reccomend our family and friends to visit Goa....Keith
