Off to the Reef Oasis Blue Bay, I think its on Sharks bay.

I thought the Red Sea had a large shark population?? Just not many people see them.
if my memory serves me right ,i once read somewhere that the larger sharks won't enter the red sea because the water at the bottom end is to rough ,i might be wrong but its stuck in my mind
I've definitely read about Hammerhead sharks around Tiran Island.
I think it got it's name because there were sharks to be found there at one stage (many years ago), but they have been driven away now.
I've heard it all now! Anyone knows you cant drive sharks! Are you intimating that there is a car park somewhere in Egypt, full of rusting sharks?

Occasional attakcs are probably barracuda attracted to flashy jewellery rather than shark

Yes
There are Sharks in any large body of water but if you see one you will be lucky
and after 2 holidays of snorkelling and diving in the Sharm area including 2 weeks in Sharks Bay I have only seen one juvenile black tip reefer so far away I did not get chance to show my dive buddy it shot away that fast it was scared of us
