Last time we went they had a fun day there, with shire horses, faclonry display and ferrets as well asthe grounds.
they had a fair outside the gates and lots of craft style stalls in the marquee.
Tutbury is a nice little village and the chip shop is good. Also there Tutbury Crystal & Georgian Crystal ( you can watch them making the glass) in the village.
There's a truckers "the Salt Box" very nearby in Hatton on the corner were it joins the old uttoxeter rd A511. Not rough and ready in half of it, but other half is defo for truckers. They do nice home cooked stuff at reasonable prices. My Aunty & Uncle go there regular from the other side of Derby.
