go here http://maps.google.co.uk/ type in your selected resort and then click on satellite!!
very cool! was able to show hubby in real imagery where our hotel is we are staying in this year compared to last years!!
have only checked marmaris and icmeler but would presume most other resorts can be seen too xx

We've been using google earth for ages. Some of the places are difficult to see, but on the whole it is great.
I checked out the location of our last holiday before we booked. So I roughly knew what the area was like around the hotel.

                Hi,
Just gave flashearth a try as I hadnt heard of it. It uses imagery fromvarious sources (without permission) but by far the best images on it are, in fact , from google earth !
Regards
Glen

I love using Google earth to look at places I have or hope to visit. I spyed the ampitheatre at Fethiye whilst browsing. When were there we paid it a visit and it was well worth it. Its not advertised or made much of but we thought it was neat

It depends on the location and what images are available, the microsoft ve labels are better than google images where available

Gunny firstly thanks very much for that site, it is great, msn maps are far more detailed than google earth particularly over major towns, this is because they used high definition cameras, on light aircraft as opposed to satellite cameras, i have used both of these for some time but the convenience of switching from one to the other like this is spot on...

Strange, because the image of Icmeler on flashearth is the old one not the updated one. The old one did not show the swimming pool of the apartments we are going to but the new one does.

I think your ISP number gives your location. Spooky

are you able to locate your hotel on the map?
