You can take any of the regular buses into the city and it costs very little. I was advised to do this when I went there last June. Taxi's are expensive and if the traffic is heavy it can cost a fortune. There is the Airlink bus and it is more expensive but I only paid something like 2.5 Euro and this took me right across town to the Hotel I was staying at. Advice given on the Trip Advisor board. Real easy!

Dublin Airport has been experiencing major delays, diversions and cancellations due to a radar system failure. All flights were grounded for a while, and the airport is now said to be operating at just 65% of its scheduled capacity. Anyone expecting to fly in or out of Dublin Airport within the next 24 hours should contact their airline to check on the status of their flight.
I know that Bewley's Hotel 'near' the Airport offer parking at 8Euro a day - not sure if the price is cheaper if you book a room as well. There is a shuttle bus that runs 24hours and it takes around 10 mins to the Airport.

All flights in and out of Dublin Airport are currently suspended until further notice, after two earlier incoming aircraft reported medium to poor braking action.
Beyond the airport, there has also been major disruption on roads and public transport in recent days and so it is worth checking not just your flight status, but also your onward route or transportation.

Quite an interesting article regarding the new terminal at Dublin which is under construction...
Aer Lingus and Ryanair are cancelling a number of flights, in anticipation of industrial action by air traffic controllers from 2pm to 6pm on Wednesday. If it goes ahead, the industrial action will affect flights to/from Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports, as well as other flights passing through Irish airspace. Anyone due to fly to/from Ireland on Wednesday is advised to verify the status of their flight with the airline.
