Hello all,
I am really excited and want to book this holiday but the prices are making me sweat a little. There is my partner and I and our 3 year old and we want to book Efes Inn or Letoile Icmeler, I have got prices for Efes for £1452 and Letoile £1812. Is this the kind of price people pay for B&B (Efes) and AI (Letiole)?? It is at the end of August so maybe it is right, has anybody any ideas about how I can get the price down a little?
Any tips welcome!
TA
Ruth
The Efes which is similar to the hotel next door to it called the Blue Rainbow should be on this years prices as of now around £1,100 for 14 nights
John
I went to the Efes Inn end August last year, for 2 of us for 2 weeks we paid £514 with Thomas Cook, i did book 11 months in advance though,it's a lovely hotel in a good location, nice food served at beach bar and lovely staff but it has a serious problem with air con, its just a small vent in the wall and its controlled by reception,But if you are lucky enough to get a room on the new top floor of the hotel all the rooms there have their own individually controlled air con and are much bigger in size so its a hit or a miss really because everyone wants a room on 5th floor!
i think thats expensive i booked d.i.y for 4 people june 2007 for 3 weeks in icmeler this august £900 i would shop around
What does anybody think. I have got theprice down to £1361 for the Efes for all 3 of us and added day flights too. I don't know where else I can go to get this down other than thomas cook website.
Sorry, in response to John I have been put off by all inclusive. You are right I don't think it is needed. Also scared as hotel may be big. What are the chances of getting a room on the 5th floor do you think? Slim to none!!
when i went to Efes Inn last year i had on my confirmation i was in the new part of the hotel, when i got there i was allocated a room on 3rd floor,it was really small and stuffy, i did say to reception about it and they promised to move me 3 days later which they did,but really its just a chance you take.
To be honest i'm sure there is much better accomodation in Icmeler that you will get for a cheaper price.
Did you look at John's company at all,you could always get a few quotes from him to compare prices.
Sorry, just a query, why would you NEED all inclusive with a 3 year old??? I have always taken my children self catering.
Does anyone knnow if any companies are booking packages for 2009 yet?
yeah thomas cook thomson and co op travel definatley are
deffinatey ive already booked 2 for next year
Surely that is a matter for the individual. It is their business if they wish to go All Inclusive. Noboby elses.
First Choice are booking also.
Think FC/Eclipse are only going up to April 2009, summer prices not out yet. Portland/Thomson packages are out for 2009.
Already booked for 2009 as are our friends.
First Choice's prices are out in the shops but won't be online for at least another month. Ridiculous!
First Choice are blethers lol...I was originally told just at the weekend there that they would be online on 30th April but i know someone else who asked and was told another 3-4 weeks
direct holidays are booking as i got there brochure in last week for 2009 and only £30 deposit .
Direct Holidays are on sale just now but prices have gone up so much since this years prices will be doing a lot of shopping around for next year if they stay that way!
But I have booked this afternoon for Icmeler and we will be staying at the Golmar Beach. Although it was £150 more than Efes the reviews put me right off it. So I ended up paying £1400 for 2 weeks B&B for 2 adults and 1 child with 7.30am flights from Manchester. Blimey how many sleeps is it until 17th Aug 2009??
Thank You Guy's
Ruth
