I was wondering if there is a cut off point by which Balkan decide if they will divert a flight? I am booking this Saturday to fly from Newcastle on the 30.06/08 (BGH5574) returning on the 7th July (BGH 5573) but the website does not say if there will be any other pick up points. Any advice gratefully recieved

I am planning to book a holiday to sunny beach and would like to know if this effects the following flight from Gatwick?

June 15th - BGH5552 - 21.15
June 22nd - BGH5551 - 20.15

The out bound flight, BGH5552, is showing as direct and so is the inbound, BGH5551, as far as Gatwick's concerned but it goes on from there to Glasgow.

Update as promised.
I received an e-mail from a learned friend in Bulgaria, to tell me that my Hotel was not going to open until 1st June (Igo 21st May), so I rang Balkan, they denied all knowledge, so I put an e-mail to them quoting a website that has been showing Hotel would not open until 1st June, I told them I had info has to where I was going to be placed. I gave them 48 hours to get back to me with it in writing that my facts were true and that they were waiting until I arrived in Varna and then tell me. I also pointed out to them that the Photo in Brochure of Gergana complex is completely wrong(Hotels shown are boryana,nona,elitza). e-mail, plus recorded delivery arrived today to confirm Hotels name (I was right) and that I would get exactly as per my old Hotel, half board and balcony and no supplement for room. I have been upgraded to 4* and it would have cost me another £185 for two weeks, had I booked this Hotel originally. I have sent a letter to Balkan saying, I am at such short notice taking this change under duress, and should things not turn out right, I would contact them again after Holiday. Tonyt.

Hi, Any (new) updates Re Balkan Flights from Newcastle in July?
Thinking of booking for Sat 5th July NCL to BOR (for Sunny Beach), and wondering if this will be 'direct', any info please ?
(p.s. where do you get the latest flight info from? Have not been able to find it on Balkan site?)

Hi Ray,

All July flights NCL-BOJ & BOJ-NCL are currently showing as being direct on the Burgas Airport website (which is the source of flight information).

Thanks for the info, I have now seen the Bourgas Airport site and flight details. NCL is shown as direct in July, but I guess there is still time for things to change? Not booked yet, still looking

Hi, In addition to the Bourgas Airport site, you can also access your departure Airport site to check out flights leaving that airport and if the are going direct to Bourgas or via another UK airport, well it works for Newcastle Airport site!.

we have booked from manchester to burgas on september the 19th this year our flight leaves manchester at 17:45pm which is ideal, hope nothing changes, does any1 know if theres any changes, we are absolutely dreading any diversions as we are both smokers lol. we are beginning to regret booking. any info wud be greatfully appreciated,, matt and karen

Hi, just put Manchester in top box, move calender to September and highlight the date, click arrivals and your flight is there. arriving 23.00 Tonyt
