The pools and grounds are really well kept and clean and it has 2 private beaches and 3 jacuzzis.....sunbathe by the jacuzzis as there is a lovely breeze coming up from the sea and you'll get a lovely tan....
I stay in Cabarete usually which is a great town about 20 minutes away. Take a taxi there for the day your kids would love it watching the kiteboarders on cabarete beach.
I'll be in Cabarete this wednesday for 3 weeks and cant wait to get back. I'd definately stay at the Casa Marina again without a doubt and as I travel there alone it also works out cheaper for me than travelling anywhere in Europe.

I would agree about Cabarete its well worth a visit.
Hi we stayed here june 07. Had a fantastic time. Our son is autistic so we were very nervous about going to a big busy resort but it worked out great. Staff were very friendly and understanding. The entertainment, especially at night, was superb. The resort was very clean and food amazing. At breakfast you can get omelettes cooked at a queue up skillett where you chose your own ingredients and these were heavenly.
Was it really 2004 when we stayed at Casa Marina Reef?
Time may fly but good memories last forever.
The "Hot Tubs" above the beach were fantastic great to relax.
I took the early morning cycle ride no breakes no gears but soon knew my way around town. You just go out the main gate turn right and walk into town no need for taxi etc.
When we stayed the evening shows were fun, the food good and don't forget there are 2 hotels on the same site.
Go enjoy a real Dominican town, friendly hotel, big pool try a Monster truck treat and visit The Rum Factory
Enjoy a real holiday

hi i got married at the casa marina 10 years ago and would love to go back, we went in october and just missed a hurricane which struck 2 weeks before we went.obviously had a wonderful time, there was no proper childrens entertainment them. just a hotel staff trying there best, but the shows in the ampithetre were good, although things have proberly changed by now. staff very friendly and helpful, thompson rep/wedding co-ordinator was brilliant we felt so relaxed and it was quite funny having people in bikinis watching you get married. food was fab, as i remember you had to pre book tables but that may of been as there was 7 of us. great time had by all, and would recommend it for weddings.
