Hi Doe
Plain black - will see what it looks like and maybe get the black and white one as well
I did mention the ITSA earlier in the thread but didn't think to post the link being to concerned with inflatable crocodiles at the time :rofl
For those who live near Bluewater they often have a demo there and sell them slightly cheaper (and of course no P &P)

thanks Lynne .

The material does look how can I say "rather clingy" :think

but then it is claimng to compliment and enhance every womans figure :rofl

Mmmmm. Never though about them being clingy, I like the black and white one. I live about 40 mins from Bluewater so it would be good to see them anfd have a feel. I would imagine this is the time of year they would be demonstrating them. The price of diesel down here at the mo the postage and packing would probably be cheaper. :rofl

Compliments and enhances every womens figure. They would say that wouldn't they :rofl

I too like the idea of both the Itsa and the Saress. I'd love to try the Saress though before I bought one as I have a sneaky suspicision it will only enhance the bits I don't want it to!

Will definitely be buying an Itsa but can I suggest peeps don't buy the 'England Flag ' design if they want to try for the 'Euro Chic' look :rofl

The Saress looks lovely,
But being an older girl :( I like to be more covered up . So I'll stick to my Kaftans, they hide all my bad bits.

Am going to invest in an Itsa, but won't be buying the Union Jack one :rofl Its not that I am not Patriotic I am in a quiet kind of way. I just dont want to add to the 'can you tell I am british' look anymore than necessary.

Wouldn't want to look like Amanda did on the final of Britans got talent. Although I guess if I looked like her it wouldn't be such a problem fitting into anything really. :rofl

Ideal World sold something similar to the Saress last summer. You put it on the same way, however, they were slightly longer and didn't in my mind look too clingy.

The Itsa looks fab, but just how bulky is it to pack? Towels always take up a lot of room and this one must be bigger still?

They did have a smaller one called a bitsa, not sure if you saw it Sandra. It wasn't as long and had limited colours (no union jacks :rofl ) but it seemed to have pockets both sides, I wondered if that might be better, as I think I have one of these 15k luggage allowances this year. You would save space on a beach bag I guess.
Reply
Ah no you see because I have it all worked out. My beach towel is very thin, unlike the ones I used to have. If I feel it's not too great when I get there I will buy another and leave it behind. I take a bag as hand luggage which has my bits and bobs in it. My handbag (not one I used at home but a more casual variety that is suitable for evening use on hols) goes inside that for travelling and then the hand luggage bag is used for beach and day trips. If i was on the beach every day then I'd probably have a separate beach bag.

It's all about the space/weight these days you see! I don't think I'll get one actually but they do look good.

You sound like you are a lot better oraganised than I am. :tup

I agree its all about space and weight and getting the right balance of things to see you through the holiday. I always used to pack a special evening back as well as a day time one, what a waste of time that was year after year I didnt use it, so only take one bag now. Although I do take a seperate one for beach stuff, thats why I am tempted by this towel.

Yes, I have spent many holidays where I have been on the beach every day (Greece and France hols with no pool). You really do need a dedicated beach bag for those trips! It's no longer the case that you are dumping things in the country you've visited so as to fit in all your duty free and knick knacks that you've bought, you have to decide what you can and can't take in the first place if you want to buy anything at all!

And remember all you non chic british ladies. Two weeks on a beach in Greece with only a nightly shake off of towel on the balcony after a hard day's sunbathing = crusty beach towel weighing twice as much as it did on the way out. :cheers

I bought 2 similar items to the itsa years ago. They were towelling bags that opened up into towels - no storage once they opened up though. I tried using one once and put my book, suncreams etc in the bag but when it was time to come home my towel was soaking after being swimming so I couldn't pack up my books and stuff as they'd be wet.

I love the beach dress thingy. I'd love to get one but it's a bit too expensive. We'll wait to see have much spends I'll have left after getting everything else. Don't know which one I'd pick though- they're all lovely.

Shirley -is the Saress £24.99 online? I've just seen it in the mall at Romford and I'm sure it was £12.49. Maybe they are selling them inside malls, as someone mentioned Bluewater. On the same stand, they also had the itsa. :)
Reply
Yes it's £24.99 on line plus £3.95 P&P. I'll have a snout around to see if I can find them cheaper. Were the ones you saw in the mall called saress or an imitation. Just wondering if you can only buy them on their website.
