Hi There
We booked some flights back in January for my family and I to go to New Zealand. With Tompson flights,The flights are booked for the 10th October. We paid £4700.00 on line. We need to cancell due to we can not afford to go now, the only number we have is the booking office and they passing us round from pillar to post, They have given me some Addresses now, and say we need to put this in writing but we will lose our money if we didn't take out the insurance. We allways take out insurance if it is offerded, so my wife is very confused and on the forms we have, there is nothing on it. To book the flights was a night mare, my wife say's, and she is on the net and computers all day as this is her job.
I was on the phone the other day for about 2 hours trying to get to the bottom of this, So can you please help
Could you please advise as we are getting no joy.
Regards Jason Gessey
Hi Jason .. welcome to the forums. You certainly seem to be in a difficult and unfortunate situation. Obviously the onus is on you to ensure that you are adequately insured for any trip or holiday. But even with insurance, I doubt if a policy would cover any disinclination to travel, and even moreso if it is specifically related to a lack of funds or any form of financial difficulty. With or without insurance, I'm afraid that your options appear very limited to me.
